Happy One Month James!

1 Month Old!

Dear James,

We can't believe you are already a month old! A few things about you in your first 4 weeks of life:

You are a very happy and content baby. You eat great, sleep great and are happy when you are awake.

During the day, you love to sleep in your swing, rather than your bassinet. Thankfully, you sleep just fine in your bassinet at night.

Speaking of sleeping, you gave Mom a present and let her sleep 5 1/2 hours straight last night!!! Feel free to do that again- and soon!

You have amazing neck strength, from day one. The nurses at the hospital were amazed. In fact, during tummy time since you can already lift your head and turn it, you sometimes (twice now) have rolled onto your back because your body is following the momentum from your head.

Your big brother loves you alot- in fact, so much so that sometimes his love is a little rough. Just wanted to let you know that you take it like a man.

You LOVE spending time with your big brother

You almost never got hiccups in the womb- you get them all the time now! They're powerful hiccups too.

You do a fake sneeze before your real sneezes. WE're nots sure how else to describe it.

When you are awake, you are very alert and like to look around you.

Mostly, though, we love you so very, very much and are so glad that you are here, happy and healthy!!
