Dear James,
Perhaps because your brother seems so big and so much older, Mom often feels like you are still a newborn- but you're not!! You are four months old!!
Sadly, though, at 4 months you have lost some of your amazing baby status :) No more sleeping through the night, no more enjoying diaper changes, and the swing no longer works its magic on you. We love you so much, though, that these things are okay- you are still wonderful and amazing to us for many reasons!
When you smile you light up! And it is contagious and so we are all smiling when we are with you.
You still hardly ever cry when William loves you a little too much.
You love your brother. You light up at his voice. You try to follow him with your eyes as he runs around. You even laugh when he is too rough.
Mom is worried that you will be mobile very young because you try so hard already to keep tabs on your brother. The other day you rotated on your tummy, on your mat, over 90 degrees in order to keep your eye on William.
You are sweaty. Sweaty, sweaty, sweaty. It's not uncommon to watch the beads of sweat form on your head and bring out the curls in you hair as your hair gets soaking wet.
You are a rolling over master. You don't stay on your tummy for too long now that you can roll! (unless you are trying to keep an eye on your brother)
You are getting really close to being able to sit up. I am excited for this milestone since you love to people watch. That's why the swing doesn't work anymore. As long as there is something to see- you are not going to go to sleep!
You get upset if Mom walks away from you.
You love your daddy time in the evening. You get so happy when Daddy comes home from school.
You love peek-a-boo.
You love to socialize. Since you Skype with both sets of Grandparents every Sunday- if there is a video (commercial, show, advertisement- it doesn't matter) on the computer you light up and smile and coo. We think YOU think they're talking to you.
We love you so much, you bring us so much joy.
Love,

He is such an adorable little boy!! Watch out to all the young ladies once he's mobile!!
He is so cute! I love the hair...Brecken's still seems so thin, I guess it also seems that way because it is light.
And, yes we would love a Christmas Card! And we need your address as well.
