My friend Courtney urged me in a comment on my last post to try the wedding ring/palm gender test because it has worked so well for her. We tried it this morning- BOY. At the last appointment the doctor said she would lean towards boy, but that we could come in today and be told it was a girl- it was just too early to tell for sure.
So then, after doing the ring test, I remembered a post by my friend Annie about all the tests they did, so we decided to try some of them and see how things went.
Here are the results:
1. Has your husband gained sympathy weight? No- BOY
2. Is your skin dry or soft? dry- BOY
3. Is your baby's heart rate fast or slow? Fast- BOY (depends on the website though)
4. Is your hair fuller or thinner? Thinner- GIRL
5. Have you gained weight in your butt or front? Front - BOY
6. Add your age + conception month? Odd Number- GIRL
7. Do you crave sweet foods or salty? Salty - BOY
8. Were you morning sick? Yes - GIRL
9. Are your feet colder than usual? Yes- BOY
10. Do you feel prettier or uglier pregnant? This time around, I feel prettier - BOY
11. Do you sleep with your head North or South? South- BOY
12. Do you have more acne? No - BOY
13. Add your age + year of conception? Odd number - BOY
14. Dangle your wedding ring using a strand of your hair over your palm. Is the ring moving in a circle or back and forth? Back and forth movement - BOY
11/14= BOY
I was really hoping to get one of each gender right off the bat since we would like at least one of each gender . . . . . but the doctor, the signs . . . . all going against hope and fatherly intuition- I think we may be having a boy!!!!
