Good News, Bad News and the reverse

**William all bundled to be out and about

Good News: William likes being in his car seat and riding in the car
Bad News: He strongly dislikes the process of getting IN the car seat!

Good News: William has slept 4 hours in a row AFTER I finished nursing him!!
Bad News: It only happens when he sleeps with us in our bed

Bad News: William had to get a CT Scan because they thought his sutures were closing early
Good News: sutures are open- no surgery!! (thanks again for everyone's prayers and fasts)

Bad News: Jordon might have to work on Christmas
Good News: He might be able to negotiate a deal so he doesn't or
Good News: if not, we will end up being able to help someone else in the same boat who already has his plane tickets

Good News: William is growing and weighed a whopping 10 lbs and 1.5 oz as of yesterday!!
Bad News: Apparently growing also involves new things like spitting up and drooling

**Dressed up to go with Mom to a Baby Shower **Reading with Grandma Hansen
Good News: William is awake for more of the day and is liking tummy time more & more
Bad News: He is so cute when he is awake to the point of distraction- mom and dad can't get anything done when he is awake because they play with him or when he is asleep because it's in our arms (for the record we always try to put him in the crib or bassinet first- that usually lasts only 5-20 minutes, but maybe it will get longer?)

*Learning to like tummy time!!

Good News: the Scharnhorsts lent us their Moby Wrap so when he is asleep we can have 2 hands
Bad News: it only works with Mom

Good News: our one month doctor's appointment went well- although she said William would start getting fussy at night
Bad News: she was right about the fussy thing

Good News: he smiles and coos even more than before and seems to respond even more to our funny faces and smiles
Bad News: we can't get it on camera when he's at his peak of smiling and cooing

*In between smiles- someday we'll catch his full out grin on camera!!

*William cooing and chatting with me

Andrea - That video was so cute! As I was watching it I was holding Tyson and when he heard William cooing he just got this big smile, a glint in his eyes and then started squawking (he breathes in forcefully to make a really loud and cute noise!) Anyway, we are so glad William's sutures were open! Hooray!! (Also, if you have to stay in Ohio over Christmas, I think Lana may be doing the same thing, so it wouldn't be so bad after all!
